About Us

Born Rodney K Sims is a self taught airbrush artist that enjoys utilizing airbrush techniques with mixed media on a variety of surfaces such as metal, fabrics, illustration board etc. I enjoy subjects involving humor, animation, science fiction and comics.

Originally a commercial art major with an advertising minor in college, I thought my life was planned out fairly well but life has a way of taking the scenic route to get to your destination. A 20 year detour through the Air Force jungle lead me astray from art to the frontiers of painting other things such as buildings, office walls, crosswalks and military aircraft. Then a carrer merger with aircraft sheet metal drasticly altered my life plans and not for the better. During the next 2 decades the thirst for creativity always beckends at my existence. Different projects over the years popped up from canvas mural designs to graphic designs on metal. The highlights of those projects was the multi wall murals at Barksdale Air Force Base Accessories Flight Building in Bossier City Louisiana . With the aid of my family we service festivals and tradedays throughout northwestern Louisiana area.
